heya ppls. this is my first attempt at adding "content" to my webpage... even though technically, this isn't directly part of my page. but oh well. close enough. so tonight, ravi zacharias was here at uiuc to speak at our all-campus worship, and he'll be here tomorrow night for a Q&A session. for those of you who haven't heard of ravi, he's a well-known apologist who's travelled around the world, been on cnn and such, wrote books, spoke at universities, etc. and this guy's mind is amaaazing. his thought process is very sharp and clear and he is able to convey his ideas really quickly through his words... almost too quickly at times. even so, he has great awareness of the world and societies around the world. God is truly working powerfully through him.
so today he spoke about culture and how today's society has grown further from christianity and how it's easy to have a misshapen perception and therefore incorrect logic about christianity. very interesting stuff... and rather overwhelming. but it really opened up my mind to many things that i had not considered about my faith and better prepared me for questions people may ask me. yup, God is good.
and just having all-campus worship is nice. it's great seeing many of the fellowships on and off campus being represented and showing up all in one place. it's just a great place to be and very encouraging.
hm, this webpaging business is kinda getting to me though. it's kinda my obsession right now. haha... i seem to have urges to create new things i can call my own. for the past month, it was writing songs.. but i have yet to pick up a guitar and learn. but i WILL learn. there i said it. now i hafta at least try to. hopefully, i won't give up on this site either. so far, all my other sites have been one-shot deals. i made it during a week... and then never touched it again. but yea.. so far i'm happy with how this site is going. =P but i'll see....
gosh, i should be doing hmwk/studying. something i definitely should be working on... and my streak of weeks with at least an exam will continue for the fifth consecutive week.... nice! alright laters ppl. for those of you who read this... thanks. =)
